Our New Year's dinner is pizza but we decided we'd mix it up a bit by making it ourselves. The girls each got their own section to 'decorate'. Brooklyn is a traditional pepperoni pizza girl while Delylah used only an entire can of olives. After dinner we made our numbers (2012), followed by a movie, sparkling cider, and banging pots and pans at 'midnight'. (In the afternoon when the kids were gone, I switched all of the clocks two hours later - so they really went to bed at 10pm but thought it was midnight - they were SO excited.)

New Year's Bash - 2012
This year was the second Wright Family New Year's Celebration (i.e. the second year we have come to terms with the fact that getting a babysitter on New Year's is next to impossible and since our kids are older we decided to celebrate with them rather than away from them.)

I love that you switched the clocks! That is hilarious. What a good trick. Maybe I'll try that next year...
Great idea about the clocks! Looks like you had a great night!
