What a Surprise

Let me start by telling you how beautiful I think Brooklyn is. She has long, light brown (no clue where she got that) hair that is ridiculously thick and unruly - but when tamed is very pretty. Then she has her mama's dark eyes and a cute little nose. As she gets older, I see her turning into a beautiful big girl - I can't quite stomach the term 'young woman' yet. Having said that - this girl is not photogenic. Don't get me wrong, she loves to pose, but with the pose comes a fake, forced smile that my brothers affectionately say makes her look like she's taking a crap. That is why when this years school picture came back I was pleasantly surprised. It captures her perfectly and naturally. I adore this picture and the girl.
